Instructions and Tips on Promoting
the Sub-Associates Program

This page is designed to give you exact instructions and tips on how to promote the sub-associates program. It is a fantastic source of revenue for you.

The beauty of this new sub-associates program is that you are getting paid to help people make money online with their website. It is free to join, so there is no risk or investment on your part or the new associate that you get to join.

All you have to do is to simply explain how the associates program works, and then send them to the URL that we assign you. We take over from there. Your job is done.

And you get paid for all the sales they make for as long as they keep selling our courses (that can be for years - all for just a few minutes of work on your part).

Once someone submits their application to become an associate member, our software automatically enters your associate number into our database as the associate that referred them to join.

Every time the new associate sells a Course, our custom made monthly check-writing software automatically adds $20 to your monthly referral check for every sale they make. We call these $20 fees "sub-referral fees".

Now let's do the math. Let's say that you recommend this to your newsletter subscriber base or your customer database and 100 people join. Out of those 100 people lets say that 90 of them do not sell much, but 10 sites sell 16 Personal Seminars each that month.

Well, you just helped each site make $720 and you get a $1600 check that month for your $10 referral fee from every Seminar they sold.

Let's say that you only signed up half that amount - that is still $800 a month in sub-referral fees for months and months to come, for years and years to come - as long as the associates that you referred to us keep selling courses.

It is important to explain the associates program before you send them to the URL that we assigned you, as this will increase the number of people that join up dramatically. Remember, many people have never heard of an associates program before and may have no idea what you are talking about until you explain the benefits and how it all works in very simple terms.

Simply mention that, "you have found a company that will pay very generous referral fees for placing their banner or a text message at your site." Then give them the site URL and mention that if they have any questions to contact you (just in case they don't understand what you are talking about).

If you just tell them to go to the site to check it out... they have no reason or benefit to make the effort. You have to show them that the program is "free" to join and will earn them substantial revenue without a lot of work on their part. They get paid for posting a link to us.

It is as simple as that!

Where do I Promote this Sub-Associates Program To?

The key here is that only website owners will be interested in joining the associates program, so you are t argeting this market.

There are many different ways to promote it. It depends on what resources you have at your disposal. For example, if you have a newsletter or "opt-in" mailing list you developed yourself, you are in luck -- it really is perfect for this.

However, if you didn't have a newsletter or list, but you participate in some related forums or email discussion lists, you could mention it there. See some ideas below and examples of those ideas a little later on this page.

Here are a few ideas:

  1. Newsletter - If you have an online newsletter you distribute right now that goes out to self-help oriented website owners or people interested in self-help, it is a perfect way to get a lot of people to join the Associates Program almost effortlessly on your part. Whether your subscription base is 200 or 20,000, it's a great opportunity for you to promote the associates program to a large audience with almost no work. You could even have a special edition of your newsletter that just talks about this opportunity. If you don't have a newsletter, but have a friend that has a newsletter, ask them if you can plug the associates program in the next edition of the newsletter.

  2. Customer and Lead Lists - You can email your customer base (if the majority are website owners as these are the people that will join the associates program), or email a customer "lead" list that you may have gotten from people that responded to your ads in the past.

  3. Forums, Newsgroups, Email Discussion Lists - You can present the The 11th Element Associates program to appropriate business forums, newsgrou ps, and email discussion lists (please notice the word "appropriate" - as if you post inappropriately you are "spamming", and as I will mention below, we do not tolerate spamming).

Make sure that when you are presenting this offer in a forum, newsgroup, or email discussion list, you keep it simple and sweet. Do not over-hype the associates program - present it for what it is. If you don't, no one will take you seriously. Also, don't have too long of a post - if you do, no one will read it and you will be wasting your time.

It would be sufficient enough to just tell them that you joined The 11th Element referral program which gives very generous referral fees. Then you can go on to say that you have been earning healthy referral checks every month and anyone can become a part of it free of charge, if they go to the site (and give them the URL for the associates program).

  4. Autoresponders - If you currently have an autoresponder that gets sent to your clients for whatever reason, you could add a little blurb about how you have earned some healthy 11th Element referral fees. You could then state that you have an article that shows exactly how you did it so they can duplicate your success - and then you instruct them to email an autoresponder which gives them all the details on the associates program.

The possibilities here are endless. You could even advertise the associates program in online classified ads and have the respondents either go directly to the site or email your autoresp onder for more details (as a preliminary to the website information). Use your imagination.

  5. Surfing the Web for Perfect Candidates - We have a few associates who spend time surfing the web and manually finding big websites that are focused on self-help. They then present the associates program to the owners of those sites. Usually they send them an email and then follow up with a phone call (as usually the email goes unanswered if it is a high-traffic website - it is much more powerful to contact them by phone - this also shows your seriousness).

Even if the phone number is not listed on the site, it is easy to go to http://www.internic.net and look up the phone number of the owner to contact directly. This technique can be very powerful. If you just get a couple of big sites to join the program, they can sell a lot of courses through the associates program and you can make an incredible about of money from your $20 sub-referral fee per course sold (it can add up to thousands of dollars every month for years and years to come - as long as the website keeps selling courses). All for a few days work getting through to the right people who make the decisions.

I know of one person who has made this his part-time job. He contacts high-traffic sites, and shows them the benefits of joining. He simply explains that it is no risk to them as it is free to join and they can cancel at anytime - they can even use up dead advertising space on their site through the use of The 11th Element banners.

  6. The Most Important One - Follow Up - What I mean by "follow up" is to always go after the same audience at least twice. Many times people will miss your message the first time around (they could be too busy, or just not the right time, etc.). It has been our experience that our response doubles with the second notice. In other words, if you got 100 people to join the first time 100 more will when you do a follow up.

  7. Newsletter Follow up - If you sent out a special newsletter edition with all the details, mention it predominantly, but not in the next issue. Do it in the issue after that. Then mention it as a little caption or sponsor in every regular issue preceding... it will drastically increase your response. It could be as simple as saying, "To learn how I made $1075 in a few days with a free associates program, go to this url .....:

Email discussion lists follow up - Be careful how you follow up here as it may seem like advertising and you can get in a little hot water. You want to wait for 2-3 weeks and then have a little post to remind people about it - but nothing too "pushy" as you don't want it to come across as advertising. The perfect opportunity would be to tie a plug about the associates program in as an answer to someone else's ques tion in the list.

Forums and Newsgroups - You can get away with re-posting (or presenting it in a different form) in appropriate newsgroups once in a while, but be careful in forums. As mentioned above, you don't want to come across as advertising so it is best to have the "follow up" mention the associates program by somehow tying it into answering a forum posting.

Customer or Lead Lists - Find a way to incorporate a small note about it in a future email to your customer base or lead list, reminding them of the opportunity and where to go to get more information on it.

Remember - be creative! I just gave you these ideas to get your "juices" flowing.

Other Ideas

You can even take out some of the information from the main associates page to use in a phone conversation or email to promote the associates program.

Very Important Note: We will not tolerate spamming of any sort. If you Spam (using unsolicited bulk email or inappropriately post to newsgroups), trying to get people to sign up on the associates program, you will be terminated from the associate program and our sub-associate program.

We are not with an ISP that will tolerate spamming, so please abide by our rules out of courtesy. However, as mentioned above, it is still OK to offer it as an autoresponder to your client base, your lead lists, people that contact you, a newsletter list, etc.

The "rule" is: As long as you have some sort of relationship with the person you are presenting the associates program to, or you are offering it in an appropriate newsgroup, forum, or email discussion list, then you are free to do so.

***** Very Important *****

As an additional note: We will not tolerate current associates signing themselves up as sub-associates under their own assigned referral number in order to generate the additional commissions for their own sales.

We have extensive tracking software in place to deter this (which is programmed to look for any similarities whatsoever in any of our associate records and flag us). If we find that this ever the case, the account(s) in question will be immediately terminated and any referral fees unpaid since our last referral payout will remain sole property of Invisible Path Publishing.

To put it bluntly, it's not worth trying!

That is all the tips and instructions for now. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at support@buildbiztips.com, as we will be happy to help you.

I look forward to a mutually profitable relationship.
